Long & Foster offers full scholarships for real estate licensing classes to military personnel, veterans, and their spouses. Scholarship covers tuition and text books for classroom classes offered by Long & Foster Institute and the Foster Real Estate School
We can’t think of anyone we’d rather have on our team!
Wes Foster, the founder, chairman and chief executive officer of the Long & Foster Companies is no stranger to military service. As a graduate of VMI, he served in the US Army as an artillery officer. As a veteran himself, Wes demonstrates his gratitude to those who serve in the U.S. Military by providing active duty personnel, honorably discharged veterans and the spouses of both groups with the opportunity to complete state required classes to transition to a real estate career.
All classes are designed to meet the classroom hours of initial real estate education mandated by the real estate licensing agency in the state in which the classes are held.
How the scholarship works:
Eligible parties should contact a Long & Foster branch manager in the state or jurisdiction where they would like to be licensed. The manager will make a copy of either a military ID or a DD214 to submit to the school for verification of eligibility. When eligibility is confirmed, the manager will enroll you in a class.
This scholarship covers the cost of tuition and any required books.
Classes are available in the District of Columbia, Delaware, Maryland. New Jersey, and Virginia through the Long & Foster Institute of Real Estate® and in Pennsylvania through the Foster Real Estate School®.
It is our sincere desire that this will help those who would like to transition from Military Service into a rewarding career in real estate. It is our way of giving back to those who have given so much.
