Stand by, Hyattsville... the Arts District is coming!

Yes, after years of decline, with only DeMatha Catholic High School bringing any positive press to Hyattsville, a major revitalization is underway. The trend-setting Arts District is expected to breathe new life to the area, and has already begun with demolition of rundown buildings along the Rt. 1 corridor. Townhomes, live-work homes and condos will be built - along with shops, galleries, a community center and neighborhood conveniences.
