Clarksville will always have a special place in my heart, because I spent a lot of time there with my best friend in high school. But it is not the same rural community that I remember - now there are lovely upscale communities throughout the area, located off Rt. 29 about halfway between Baltimore and Washington. Rt. 32 provides direct access east towards Annapolis and West towards Rt. 70 and western Maryland.

Clarksville is primarily a residential community, but it also is home to W.R. Grace and Company. One of the highlights of the year in Clarksville is the Clarksville Picnic, held annually by St. Louis Catholic Church.
