Just north of Crofton along the Rt. 3 corridor is Millersville, a residential area that includes the neighborhoods of Shipley's Choice and Old Mill. Millersville is adjacent to Severna Park and it may be hard, at times, to know exactly where one stops and the other starts.

Millersville is primarily residential, a bedroom community to Baltimore that is also home to Annapolis and D.C. commuters.
