Gambrills enjoys a new identity since The Villages at Waugh Chapel was built just north of Crofton - a neighborhood retail center located on the west side of Rt. 3, just north of Crofton.

The community has also seen a boom in residential construction, with upscale townhomes and single-family homes to complement the modestly priced older communities.

Gambrills is home to School of the Incarnation, which educates K-8 students from six nearby Catholic parishes.

Many people do not realize that Gambrills has its own identity - they think of it as part of Crofton or Odenton.
