Just across the South River Bridge from Annapolis and east of Davidsonville, you will find Edgewater.

Until recently, this was a fairly sleepy area with a few high-end waterfront homes along the South River, but mostly modest single-family homes.

New development over the past decade has brought townhomes and some commercial development - along with that, a new image and property value increases. There is a small airport for private planes in Edgewater, and a large public school complex in the heart of the community.

Home prices range from the $200,000's to nearly 4 million dollars for large waterfront properties.
