Arnold

Arnold, Maryland (21012)

Arnold, Maryland, is located just north of Annapolis on the Broadneck Peninsula between the Magothy and Severn Rivers. It’s a “bedroom community” to Annapolis, located about a half-hour southeast of Baltimore and less than an hour to Washington, D.C. via Rt. 50.

Arnold is home to Anne Arundel Community College, named one of the nation’s Top Digital Community Colleges for 2007 by the Center for Digital Education and the American Association of Community Colleges.

You’ll also find Bay Hills Golf Course, a semi-private club that non-members can play with certain restrictions. The 5,705 yard course features zoysia grass fairways and bent grass greens, and you’ll need to bring your precision game to find a flat lie.

Local schools are highly rated, with some students attending Broadneck High School and others attending Severna Park High School.

For recreation, you’ll find several parks, a dozen marinas, and the Baltimore-Annapolis Bike Trail, connecting Severna Park with Annapolis.

Home prices run from the $200,000’s for a condo and over 3 million dollars for some waterfront properties. It’s safe to say that there’s probably a home in your price range with features and neighborhood amenities that you’ll enjoy!
